Files Manager

The Files Manager allows you to Import folders containing:
Project files.  graphic
Kit files. graphic
Pattern files. graphic
Midi files. graphic
wav, mp3, or OggVorbis. graphic

·     Project files. graphic

Project files can be opened by double-clicking on a project file.

·     Kit files. graphic

To open a Kit file double-click or drag the Kit file to the Kit panel.

·     Pattern files. graphic Double-clicking a pattern file will display the Import Pattern dialog. The pattern file will be imported and added as a new pattern.

Pattern files can be added to a particular pattern by dragging a pattern file from the Files Manager to the Event panel. The pattern will be added to the current pattern and measure that it was dragged to.

The Import Pattern dialog will be displayed if the group assignments do not match. If all group assignments match the Import Pattern dialog will not be displayed. "See" Import Pattern

Holding Ctrl while dragging a pattern file to Event panel will force the Import Pattern dialog to show.

Midi files. graphic Midi files behave similar to pattern files.
Double-clicking a midi file will display the Import Midi dialog. The pattern will be imported and added as a new pattern.

Midi files can be added to a particular pattern by dragging a midi file from the Files Manager to the Event panel. The pattern will be added to the current pattern and measure that it was dragged to.

The Import Midi dialog will be displayed if the group assignments do not match. If all group assignments match the Import Pattern dialog will not be displayed. "See "Import Midi and Midi Map

To import a folder select the Files tab then right-click in the upper portion of Files panel and select Import Folder.  "See" Importing Audio
